2001 wurde Farbschall e.V., gemeinnütziger Verein zur Förderung der Hip Hop-Kultur gegründet. 2005 eröffnete das Combo Hip Hop Kulturzentrum, in Kooperation mit der Mobilen Jugendarbeit der Sozial und Jugendbehörde der Stadt Karlsruhe, Farbschall e.V., Vertretern und Unterstützer der lokalen Hip Hop Szene.

Der Name Team Combo umfasst alle diese Institutionen und Menschen. Das Team ist kein fester Zusammenschluss. Oftmals in wechselnder und dynamischer Besetzung. Ohne kommerzielle Absichten zur Förderung von Menschen, ihren Ambitionen, die Möglichkeit auf Entfaltung und Schnittstelle zu allen Lebenslagen sind die Ziele.

Am 10. September 2022 feiern wir das 17. Jubiläum von Team Combo.

Aufgrund von Räumlichen Möglichkeiten, im Combo Hip Hop Kulturzentrum,  findet der Jubiläums Event allerdings an / in der Delewarestraße in der Karlsruher Nordstadt statt. Place to be ist die Straße selbst. An einem 600m langen Holzbauzaun der GEM Ingenieur GmbH,  CG Elementum AG wird es eine Graffiti Session geben. Am Ende der Delewarestraße, im NCO- Club findet das erste “Into The Deep“ Europe Breaking qualifier statt. Das Release des Buches über das Graffit, Street- Art Projekt  „ExpoStation Areal C“  findet auch an dem Samstag vor Ort statt.

Der Eintritt ist frei.

Into the Deep – 2 vs. 2 Breaking Qualifier Europe
Zum ersten Mal in Europe findet ein qualifier für „Into the Deep“ in Süd Korea statt.
Die Gewinner des 2 vs.2 Battles erhalten die Reise und Teilnahme an der 10. Jubiläums Edition von „Into The Deep“ 2023 in Seoul.

Die Jury ist mit fünf aktiven und erfahrenen Protagonisten besetzt. Aus Ungarn stammt das in Wien lebende B-Girl Dora. Mit englischen Pass und kolumbianischen Wurzeln kommt B-Boy Spin aus London zu uns. Mit B-Boy Nasso haben wir feinste französiche qualität aus Bordeaux. Als lokaler Vertreter der Breaking Szene wird B-Boy Ilja aus Karlsruhe in der Jury sitzen. Last but not least haben B-Boy Fihz aus Seoul, Süd Korea als Repräsentant von „Into the Deep“ in den Reigen der Juroren.

Kein Breaking Battle ohne Musik. Doch so besonders die Tanzform des Breaking ist, so speziell ist das auflegen für ein Battle. Interaktion und feeling mit den Tänzer und Tänzerinnen ist ein Vorrausetzung die „normale“ DJ´s von  Dj F-One & Originill a.k.a. The Streetlife Sound System unterscheidet. Selbst B-Boys produzieren sie ihren eigenen Beats und haben das Know How für intensive Battles.  

Die Masters of Ceremony, die Moderatoren des Battles sind selbst erfahren Tänzer und fest mit dem Combo verankert.  Bobby Balboa der Kopf hinter Balboa Squad und Tru Cru´s Sung Goku werden uns mit typischen deffect´s durch das „Into the Deep“ qaulifier Europe führen.

Graffiti Session
Im Jahr 2021 noch die Location der „ExpoStation Areal C“ befindet sich nun ein etwa 600 Meter langer Holzbauzaun der das Neubauprojekt der GEM Ingenieur GmbH,  CG Elementum AG in der Karlsruher Nordstadt flankiert. Über vierzig Graffiti, Street- Art Künstler und Künstlerinnen werden am 10. September dort Flächen gestalten. Es wird im Vorfeld kein offizielles Line Up geben. Man munkelt dass uns auch ein paar internationale Gäste die Ehre geben werden.

Ein Teil der Flächen wird für geplante Gäste reserviert sein. Diese werden markiert sein. Ein Teil der Wände lassen wir frei für spontane Gäste die an dem Tag auch gerne malen wollen. Wer Lust hat, gerne vorher bei uns melden.

„ExpoStation Areal C“ Buch Release

Vom 06. Oktober bis 30. Oktober 2021 fand die „ExpoStation 2021 – Urbane und Zeitgenössische Ausstellung“ auf dem Areal C in der Nordstadt von Karlsruhe statt. 

Unter Leitung von Team Combo kooperierten für die „ExpoStation Areal C“, die regionale Graffiti Szene mit der Stadt Karlsruhe in Form von Sozial- und Jugendbehörde, Jugendhilfe und Soziale Dienste, Mobile Jugendarbeit, Schulsozialarbeit, Combo Hip Hop Kulturzentrum und Street Projects, Farbschall e.V. Verein zur Förderung der Hip Hop Kultur sowie die GEM Ingenieur GmbH und die CG Elementum AG. Unterstützt wurde das Projekt von Montana Cans, dem Fanprojekt Karlsruhe und NCO Club des STJA e.V. Karlsruhe, den Zentralen Werkstätten des Gartenbauamtes Karlsruhe. Sowie von lokalen Firmen und Privatpersonen.

Das Buch zur Aktion wird  am Samstag 10. September seine Veröffentlichung und erstmals und exklusive bei der Jam zu haben sein.  

17th Anniversary Team Combo // Into the Deep Europe Jam

In 2001, Farbschall e.V., a non-profit association for the promotion of hip-hop culture, was founded. In 2005, the Combo Hip Hop cultural center opened in cooperation with the mobile youth work of the social and youth authority of the city of Karlsruhe, Farbschall e.V., representatives and supporters of the local hip hop scene.

The name Team Combo encompasses all of these institutions and people. The team is not a fixed association. Often in a changing and dynamic line-up. Without commercial intentions to promote people, their ambitions, the opportunity for development and an interface to all situations in life are the goals.

On September 10, 2022, we will celebrate Team Combo’s 17th anniversary.

Due to spatial possibilities, in the Combo Hip Hop Kulturzentrum, the anniversary event will take place on / in Delewarestraße in the north of Karlsruhe. The place to be is the street itself. There will be a graffiti session on a 600m long wooden fence of the GEM Ingenieur GmbH,  CG Elementum AG. At the end of Delewarestraße, in the NCO Club, the first „Into The Deep“ Europe Breaking qualifier will take place. The release of the book about the graffiti, street art project „ExpoStation Areal C“ will also take place on site on Saturday.

Into the Deep – 2 vs 2 Breaking Qualifier Europe

For the first time in Europe, a qualifier for „Into the Deep“ will take place.

The winners of the 2 vs.2 battle will receive the trip and participation at the 10th anniversary edition of „Into The Deep“ in Seoul, South Korea in 2023.

The jury consists of five active and experienced protagonists. B-Girl Dora, who lives in Vienna, comes from Hungary. With an English passport and Colombian roots, B-Boy Spin comes to us from London.
With B-Boy Nasso we have the finest French quality from Bordeaux. As a local representative of the breaking scene, B-Boy Ilja from Karlsruhe will sit on the jury. Last but not least, B-Boy Fihz from Seoul, South Korea as representative of „Into the Deep“ in the jury.

No breaking battle without music. But as special as the dance form of breaking is, DJing for a battle is just as special. Interaction and feeling with the dancers is a prerequisite for the DJs.
Dj F-One & Originill a.k.a. The Streetlife Sound System makes a difference. Even B-Boys produce their own beats and have the know-how for intensive battles.

The Masters of Ceremony, the moderators of the battle, are experienced dancers themselves and firmly anchored in the combo. Bobby Balboa the mind behind Balboa Squad and Tru Cru’s Sung Goku will guide us through the „Into the Deep“ qualifier Europe.

Graffiti session

In 2021, the location of the „ExpoStation Areal C“ is now an approximately 600 meter long wooden fence flanking the new building project of GEM Ingenieur GmbH, CG Elementum AG in the northern part of Karlsruhe. More than forty graffiti and street art artists will design areas there on September 10th. There will be no official line up in advance. It is rumored that a few international guests will also give us the honor.

Part of the space will be reserved for planned guests. These will be marked. We leave part of the walls free for spontaneous guests who would also like to paint on the day. If you are interested, please let us know in advance.

„ExpoStation Area C“ book release

From October 6th to October 30th, 2021, the „ExpoStation 2021 – Urban and Contemporary Exhibition“ took place on Area C in the northern part of Karlsruhe.

Under the direction of Team Combo, the regional graffiti scene cooperated with the city of Karlsruhe in the form of social and youth authorities, youth welfare and social services, mobile youth work, school social work, Combo Hip Hop Cultural Center and Street Projects, Farbschall e.V. Association for the promotion of hip hop culture as well as GEM Ingenieur GmbH and CG Elementum AG. The project was supported by Montana Cans, the Karlsruhe fan project and the NCO Club of STJA e.V. Karlsruhe, the central workshops of the Karlsruhe Horticultural Office. As well as from local companies and private individuals.

The campaign book will be released on Saturday September 10th and will be available for the first time and exclusively at the jam.
