Spring Meeting 2024
2005 eröffnete das Combo Hip-Hop Kulturzentrum, in Kooperation mit der Mobilen Jugendarbeit der Sozial und Jugendbehörde der Stadt Karlsruhe, Farbschall e.V., Vertretern und Unterstützer der lokalen Hip Hop Szene. Der Name Team Combo umfasst alle diese Institutionen und Menschen. Das Team ist kein fester Zusammenschluss. Oftmals in wechselnder und dynamischer Besetzung. Ohne kommerzielle Absichten zur Förderung von Menschen, ihren Ambitionen, die Möglichkeit auf Entfaltung und Schnittstelle zu allen Lebenslagen sind die Ziele. Beim Spring Meeting findet am Samstag den 23.3. eine Breaking Session mit niedrigschwelligem Austausch für regionale Tänzerinnen und Tänzer statt. Am Sonntag den 24.3. wird es ein offenes Training geben. Ein Get Together mit selbstorganisiertem Training und Erfahrungsaustausch. Mehrere Hundert Quadratmeter Fläche zum sprühen wurden über die Jahre am Combo errichtet. Etwa 50 Writer können am Spring Meeting vor Ort malen. Sonntag ist der Kaffee, Kannen und Knackwurst Tag mit Café Riot. Das Café und Graffiti Laden Riot aus der Adlerstraße Karlsruhe stellt einen Stand und sorgt für solidarischen Kaffee und vegane Verpflegung am 24.3. Updates und Highlights auf Insta.

Youth in Action – Tage 4, 5 und 6
Die ganze Woche über finden zwischen Frühstück und Mittagessen Vorträge über die anwesenden Organisationen statt, bei denen man interessante Einblicke in die Arbeitsweise und die Interpretation von Hip-Hop gewinnen kann. Abschließend wurde mit Hand und Fuß versucht, die anwesenden Graffitimaler unter einen Hut zu kriegen, ein Farbkonzept zu erarbeiten ( 😉 ) und gemeinsam an die rund 2 Kilometer! lange Hall of Fame zu gehen. Neben den angereisten Malern aus ganz Europa konnten wir auch einige Einheimischen begrüßen, die gesamte Wand kommt in der nächsten Zeit hier online! Am Donnerstag gabs ein kleines Highlight für unsere Maler: in einem kleinen Graffiti-Laden wurden wir in den Keller gebeten, der komplett zugetaggt war. Da haben wir uns nicht zweimal bitten lassen und selbst Hand angelegt. Aber seht selbst:
Inclusion through Fusion
“Inclusion through Fusion” is a 12 months strategic partnership in the field of youth project that involves six organizations from different European countries (Croatia, Cyprus, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain) that exchange their good practices and work for promoting the inclusion of the most disadvantaged groups through musical fusion and artistic creation, being art as a tool for social development and inclusion. The main objectives of the project are: – To improve key competences of young artists belonging to ethnic minorities and/or migrants with the aim of socially transforming their communities; – To exchange and develop new educational tools in order to raise awareness about the inclusion of ethnic minorities and immigrants of the participating areas and countries, through musical fusion; – To promote a higher quality of youth work, focusing on the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, fostering internationalization of work on these topics; – To create an international network of organizations that use art as a tool of social transformation, inclusion, and integral development, with the aim of promoting cooperation and exchange of good practices among organisations of programme countries.
